Recent reason of climate abnormality problem happening in global village is known to be greenhouse gas emission as using various energies, especially the carbon dioxide. In our case, 86% of the greenhouse gas emission is carbon dioxide. Within those 86% of carbon dioxide, transportation occupies 30%, and it is increasing around 8.1% annually. If these greenhouse gases and other air pollutants are accumulated, then the environment of the Earth will be negatively influenced as destruction of ecosystem, ozone layer, climate changes, and of course, the health of the human body.
High-speed railroad has almost no pollutant, because its energy efficiency is high twice the automobile, four times the airline, and mostly because it uses electricity. Once high-speed railroad opens, carbon dioxide and dusts will be hugely decreased, and we could reduce the air pollution.
