KTX Amenities

  Passenger Seat - Designed to fit Koreans’ body shape

  Seats were ergonomically designed and placed to suit Koreans' body shape, so that passengers can travel comfortably.

  Restroom - Clean toilets

  A state of vacuum is always maintained inside the toilets, and a special valve is installed in each drainage pipe. This prevents wastes and odor from coming out of the toilets while the train runs.

  Vending machine- 13 vending machines

  For each train set, there are 13 vending machines, including 10 beverage vending machines and 3 snack vending machines. As the KTX doesn’t have a dining car, passengers can use these vending machines to purchase food and beverage items.

KTX-Sancheon Amenities

  Seats - Rotatable seats

  For the convenience of passengers, all seats in the KTX-Sancheon are rotatable, so that those who don’t want to travel in reverse-direction seats or table seats can reverse their seats. Also, the legroom of Standard class seats is 5cm larger than that of Standard KTX seats

  Restroom - Special Device used in airplane

  Aircraft lavatory system The same vacuum system used for airplane toilets is applied to the restrooms of the KTX-Sancheon. This system blocks waste and odor, making the restroom a more pleasant place.

  Business compartment - For business travelers or travelers with friends

  This is a space where a small group of families or friends traveling together can have a conversation. Also, the wide folding table can be useful for business travelers to work on the train.

  Power outlet- Power outlet Power outlets at seats

  Power outlets are installed at every seat in First class cars and end seats in Standard class cars. Passengers can charge the batteries of their laptops or mobile phone in their train car.
